Originally from the UK, Mr. Dyer brings a wealth of experience spanning over 17 years in education, both domestically and internationally. His career began in Further Education before he transitioned into roles as a teacher and educational leader across various settings.
For the past 11 years, Mr. Dyer has been an integral part of Malaysia’s K-12 education landscape, most recently serving as Head of Secondary and Designated Safeguarding Lead at another leading international school. His expertise includes extensive work with Cambridge curricula, encompassing IGCSE, Secondary, and IPC frameworks.
At the core of his leadership philosophy is a commitment to student-centred decision-making and upholding rigorous academic standards. Mr. Dyer is deeply passionate about empowering students to achieve their academic potential while fostering holistic development and life skills. His goal is to nurture global citizens who embody a dedication to lifelong learning and are well-equipped for future success.
He values honesty and respect between teachers, students, and families, believing these are crucial for achieving shared goals. Mr. Dyer also has experience with Council of International Schools accreditations, enhancing his unique insight into the development and growth of schools.
Outside of work, Mr. Dyer enjoys hiking, cricket, rugby, and regularly participates in Spartan obstacle course races.
