Middle Years Programme (Grades 6–8)

Curriculum Overview
The MYP curriculum is structured around eight subject groups, allowing students to explore a variety of disciplines while understanding how they interconnect:
1. Language and Literature: English
2. Language Acquisition: A second language (e.g., Mandarin, French, or Malay)
3. Individuals and Societies: History, Geography, and Economics
4. Sciences: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
5. Mathematics
6. Arts: Visual Arts, Music, and Drama
7. Physical and Health Education
8. Design: Technology and Design

Assessment Approaches
- The MYP assesses students on criteria related to their subject groups. This includes formative assessments such as projects, presentations, and reflections, as well as summative assessments through tests and examinations. Students are assessed on their ability to inquire, think critically, and apply their learning.








11-16 years old
The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is designed for students aged 11 to 16.
School Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 8.00am – 4.00pm (CCA: 3.00pm-4.00pm), Friday: 8.00pm – 3.00pm
25 students per class
The class sizes are limited to 25 students.
After School Programme
The After School Programme runs from Monday to Thursday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
